Highlights of the holiday region Wipptal

Embedded in the fascinating natural landscape of the Tyrolean mountains, the Chaletdorf Bergeralm is the ideal starting point for adventurous excursions.

In winter, the cable car “Bergeralmbahn” takes you straight from the chalet to the mountain. The Bergeralm is a small but fine ski resort for families but also for ambitious winter sports enthusiasts. Away from the slopes, cross-country ski trails, toboggan fun, ski tours and much more await you. Other attractive ski areas such as the Stubai Glacier are located in the area.

Not only because of the impressive mountain panorama but also due to the numerous holiday activities, the Wipptal region is not just a winter destination. The diverse flora and fauna of the Wipptal can be easily explored on the well-developed and family-friendly hiking and biking routes. Climbing and mountaineering are other popular recreational opportunities in the area.

The short distance to Innsbruck is ideal for shopping and sightseeing. The proximity to Italy, however, is often used for day trips to the neighboring South Tyrol or Lake Garda.
